The bandits at Stripe have announced fee increases starting in October:
The add-on percentage fee for "international" credit card transactions will increase from 0.6% to 0.8% - so 3.7% total for Canadian companies receiving USD payments, even if those payments go to a US bank account.
Also they are ending free invoices (was up to 25 monthly). Generating any invoice and getting it paid via Stripe will now cost an additional 0.4%.
